YITEC Player Handbook

Everything you need to join the city and master it — from installing the game to running a public company.

How to Join

YITEC runs in offline (cracked) mode, so you don't need a paid Mojang account — any Forge-capable launcher like TLauncher works. The whole setup takes about five minutes.

☕ Step 0 — make sure Java 8 is installed. Forge 1.16.5 runs on Java 8.
Windows: easy — TLauncher bundles its own Java, so it usually just works. If the game won't launch, install Adoptium Temurin 8 and restart.
Mac (Apple Silicon — M1/M2/M3/M4): install the ARM64 build of Java 8 — download Zulu JDK 8 for macOS (Apple Silicon), open the .dmg, run the installer, then select this Java in your launcher.

YITEC Mods Folder

The exact mod set the server runs — drop it into your .minecraft folder.

1

Install a launcher (TLauncher)

Download and install TLauncher (or another launcher that supports Forge). TLauncher lets you log in with any username and play without a premium account.

2

Install & launch Forge 1.16.5

In the launcher's version list, choose Forge 1.16.5 (version 36.2.x recommended — it matches the server). If it isn't installed, the launcher will download it. Launch the game once and close it — this creates the game folder and an empty mods folder.

3

Open your game folder & install the mods

Download the YITEC mods folder above. In the launcher, click the folder icon (often labelled "Open game folder") to open your .minecraft directory. Then extract the downloaded mods folder into .minecraft, replacing the existing one so it matches the server exactly.

⚠ Replace, don't merge. Your mods folder must contain only the jars from the download — no extras, no leftovers, and don't unzip a nested mods/mods folder. Mismatched or extra mods are the #1 cause of "failed to connect" errors.

4

Add the server & play

Launch Forge 1.16.5 again. Go to Multiplayer → Add Server and enter the address below. Join, and type /yitechelp in chat any time for the full command list.
