YITEC Player Handbook

Everything you need to join the city and master it — from installing the game to running a public company.

How to Join

YITEC runs in offline (cracked) mode, so you don't need a paid Mojang account — any Forge-capable launcher like TLauncher works. The whole setup takes about five minutes.

System requirements

• Java: Forge 1.16.5 needs Java 8 — most launchers bundle it automatically.
• RAM: Allocate at least 4 GB to Minecraft (6 GB is smoother with this mod set).
• Version: Exactly Forge 1.16.5. 1.16.4 or 1.17 will not connect.

Troubleshooting

• "Failed to connect / mod mismatch": your mods folder doesn't match the server. Re-download and replace it cleanly.
• Game crashes on startup: raise the allocated RAM, and make sure you're on Forge 1.16.5 (not vanilla 1.16.5).
• Can't find the folder: on Windows it's %AppData%\.minecraft; on macOS ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft.
• Kicked for "invalid move packet": usually a hacked/unstable client — use a clean TLauncher install.

Ways to Make Money

Every playstyle pays here — grind quick jobs, farm, run a shop, build a company, gamble the markets, or sell your skills. This is the full playbook, roughly easiest to most ambitious. New in the city? Start with Jobs.

Jobs Board — the easiest start new

• /jobs — open the Job Board: a rotating list of paid gigs that always has fresh work. Take up to 3 at once with /jobs accept <id>.
• 🔷 Gather — collect an item quota (e.g. 32 iron ore), then /jobs turnin <id> for a bonus above market price.
• 🔴 Hunt — kill a target mob (zombies, creepers, even Cybermen); kills count automatically and pay on completion.
• 🔵 Deliver — drive a package to the marked spot, then /jobs deliver <id>. Longer routes pay more.
• Every job grants XP — level up for +5% pay per level. Track it with /jobs status and the /jobs top leaderboard.

Selling Items & Checking Prices

• Player Shop (craftable block) — stock an item, set a price, and sell to other players or to passing villager customers. Toggle buy mode to buy from players instead.
• Villager customers visit your sell-shop and buy stock whenever a player is nearby and your price is at or below market — sales roll in while you play.
• /market-price (or /sellprices) — opens a GUI of exactly what villagers pay for every item, so you know what's worth hauling before you mine it.
• The ATM block ("YITEC BANK") keeps your money safe — deposit and withdraw any time.

What your items are worth

Market prices are tuned to feel real — cheap crops, valuable gems. This is what a villager customer pays per item, so automate the cheap stuff and save inventory space for the good stuff:

The Wandering AI Trader

• A wandering AI merchant roams the city — hold any item and haggle with him in chat to sell it for whatever you can talk him up to.
• Perfect for offloading odd or modded items no villager will buy.
• Fair-play cap: you can earn at most $10,000 per real day from the trader, so spread your big sales across days.

Passive Income — Farms & Companies

• /company create <name>, claim land, then /hire-villager — farmers ($10/hr each) auto-harvest, replant and stock your Company Shop, which banks every sale to the company.
• /company buy-bonemeal speeds the whole field; scale up to 10 farmers for a real farm business.
• /get-company-shop places a Company Shop that draws its own villager customers — money that keeps coming while you do other things.

Futures Market — high risk, high reward new

• /market list — live prices for real stocks & crypto (Apple, Tesla, Nvidia, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, Gold, Oil) pulled straight from the real markets.
• /market buy <asset> <margin> <10|100|1000> — go long with 10× / 100× / 1000× leverage. Profit and loss are amplified massively.
• Brutal & realistic — a position liquidates the instant losses reach your margin. Watch with /market positions, cash out with /market close <id>.
• Crypto trades 24/7; stocks & commodities move during US market hours. Never bet money you can't lose.

Services & Hustles

• Police officer — /applypolice to earn per arrest (clean record required).
• Bounty hunter — hunt wanted players to collect escrowed /bounty rewards.
• Real estate — /realestate create <price> to flip land, or lease it for daily rent.
• Be the bank or the muscle — /loan offer with interest, /contract offer for paid jobs, or hire out guards & drones.
• Arbitrage — buy cheap from catalog/admin shops and resell to villagers or players at a markup.

Pro Tips & the Tax

• 💸 Federal tax — each real day, idle wealth over $50k is taxed (2% on $50k–250k, 5% above $250k). Don't sit on millions; reinvest them.
• 🤝 Social security — if you're under $20k and online, you receive a share of the tax pool. New players always get a floor.
• 📈 Level your jobs for +5% pay each level, and stack a job streak on top of farm income.
• 🔁 Always check /market-price first — never sell below what a villager would pay.

The YITEC Economy Mod

YITEC Economy is our in-house Forge 1.16.5 mod and the backbone of the server. It adds money, shops, banking, real estate, a police/crime system, paid combat abilities, and a full company system with employees, finance, stock and war. Run /yitechelp in-game for the live list. (op) marks commands that need permission level 2.

Money & Banking

• /balance — view your money · /baltop — richest-players leaderboard.
• /pay <player> <amount> — send money (works on offline players too).
• /eco set|add|take <player> <amount> (op) — adjust a balance.
• Bounties — /bounty set <player> <amount> escrows money the killer collects; announced server-wide.
• ATM block ("YITEC BANK") — deposit and withdraw, with correct display for large amounts.

Shops & Market

• Player Shop (craftable) — stock an item, set a price, sell to players or villager customers. Toggle buy mode to purchase from players instead.
• Admin Shop — infinite stock, managed in creative.
• Villager customers — real villagers visit and buy stock if a player is nearby and the price is at/below market. Kill a shopping villager and the shop gets a 15-minute cooldown.
• /market (op) — GUI to control what villagers buy and for how much. Works with any item, including modded; prices persist.

Real Estate & Safe Zones

• /claim-land — get a claim wand and mark two corners.
• /realestate create <price> — claim & list for sale; then buy, sell, lease, rent, fee, unclaim, info.
• Inside claimed land, no monsters spawn and only authorized players can build.
• Safe zones — world spawn (radius 48) and admin-protected claims block player damage, explosions and offensive abilities. You get a chat notice on entry.

Police, Crime & Wanted

• Killing a villager gives a wanted star and dispatches police; a busted player pays a fine and is tailed for 5 minutes.
• /911 — call police ($50) · /callsquad — a 20-officer squad · /backup — free reinforcements.
• /applypolice — become an officer (paid per arrest; clean record required).
• /wanted, /bail, /crimes — manage your record.
• Helpful officers also put out fires and heal hurt, law-abiding players nearby.

Combat Abilities & Privacy

• /airstrike player <player> / coords <x y z> — drop a missile (cost + cooldown).
• /airsupport — precision missiles on nearby hostile mobs; works in caves ($5000).
• /callzombies <player> — spawn a zombie horde 10–16 blocks from a target.
• /privacy — $10,000 for 5 minutes: nothing can target you — missiles, zombies, guards, drones, war/lockdown. Hunts pause and resume after it ends.

Companies & Employees

• /company create <name> — register a company (you're founder with 100% stake). Then info, list, deposit, withdraw, claim.
• /hire-villager [count] — farmers ($10/hr) auto-harvest, replant and stock your company shop.
• /hire-guards [count] — bodyguards ($100/hr): tanky, hit hard, defend staff and dig to reach targets.
• /hire-drone [count] — flying combat drones ($5000): fireballs + a lightning strike every 30s.
• Guard orders: /guards follow|recall|kill|raid|collectdebt|protect. Heal a guard with bread.
• Drone orders: /drones follow|recall|kill|kamikaze|firefight. Units never harm their own owner and pile on outsiders you attack.

Finance, Stocks & War

• Loans — /loan offer <player> <amount> <interest>, /loan-accept, repay with /paydebt.
• Contracts — /contract offer <player> <minutes> <pay> (escrowed, paid on completion).
• Stakeholders — /company grant-stake, /company pay-profit <amount> (splits by ownership).
• Stock market — /company ipo <total> <founderKeep> <price>; /stock list|buy|sell|portfolio. Dividends pay per share.
• War & lockdown — /company war / peace; /company lockdown on|off. Random pillager raids hit companies every few hours.
